Video/Audio Editing Headphones-

What are some of the best headphones you can get for your home recording studio? There are so many brands and models out there it’s hard to choose between them all. In the Interactive Media Design program you’ll use headphones a lot for editing video and audio. Here are some of the best headphones I think are best:

BOSE Noise Canceling Headphones

Extremely expensive, but has amazing sound. These have a switch on them that filters out any outside noise so you feel alone with your music. These are the best headphones if you need to work in noisy environments. It’s all gone with a flick of a switch.

Direct Sound Extreme Isolation Headphones

These headphones will not bleed any sound to a live microphone when you are recording.

Beats by Dr. Dre (Pro)

Because Beats Pro headphones have heavily padded, pivoting ear cups, you get the noise cancelling effect without the need for power switches or batteries. It’s the real studio monitor experience in a headphone.

Beats by Dr. Dre (Studio)

Powered by a pair of AAA batteries, the noise cancellation feature in a pair of Beats Studio headphones amplifies the music as it blocks out noise, giving you consistently powerful and intense sound. Powerful enough to block out a jet engine!

I have yet to get a pair of nice headphones myself. Out of these I would love to purchase the Beats by Dr. Dre (pro). I have tried them out in stores and a friend of mine has a pair and just loves them. Any of these would be amazing, but the Beats headphones not only have great sound, they come in awesome colors as well!

Take a look at these headphones for your video/audio classes at MPTC to get the best sound and the most out of your projects!
