This is my fourth year in college, but my first year here at MPTC. I received an associate’s degree in Business Management and another in Marketing at a community college in upper Michigan with the obvious question most college students ask themselves, “What do I do next?” It would have been easy to just take a break and think about all of my options, but not the smartest or best choice for me. A few months before moving to Fond du Lac a new program came about that was right up my alley and a great addition to my current degrees, Interactive Media Design. It was a very difficult move, but this program has helped me realize what I want to do for my future career. I am very thankful for my family, teachers, and friends to help push me along and support me through this endeavor.
So what will I give you as readers and MPTC through these blogs? I believe that a lot of current and upcoming students can relate to me and what I have to share. This blog will document my journey as a college student, a 3D perspective on where I am in my life and the hurdles I took to get here, a weekly dose of inspiration, a brighter look towards the future, and exciting events around MPTC.
